Behind the Brief: PLC20

When briefing in the concept that became PLC20, we knew we wanted to make a more commuter, office-friendly, single-cavity everyday bag. But unlike many single-cavity bags, we envisioned PLC20 to have external organization for large items. This posed a design challenge. How do we functionally engineer the front pocket and hinge to operate the way we want (3D pocketing, intuitive access, and our signature design) but without sacrificing any beauty of its streamlined silhouette.
