But not every sling outing requires 2 liters of carry. So, we thought, how could we keep the best parts of CAS2, but scale it down for simpler, more compact carry.

Enter CIVIC Access Sling 1L: an everyday and travel companion designed to free up your pockets while keeping your most-used items instantly accessible.

Tomorrow at 8am MDT on our site, the new sling will be released.

Unlike many small slings, CAS1 isn’t just a zippered sack with straps. Its cleverly patterned shape creates a comfortable, body-hugging fit, while the interior offers more organization than meets the eye.

CAS1 was designed to move easily between daily use and travel. At just 8.3 oz, we’ve found ourselves packing it inside our travel backpacks and duffels to then be deployed once we arrive at our destination.

Over the last year, nearly every member of our team, male and female, tested this new sling. We brought it along on our recent spring trip to Mexico City, where a film camera, passports, cash, hotel keys, and other small valuables stayed secure, organized, and easy to access throughout the day.

What is the shell textile?
Our rugged, yet sleek, balanced ballistic woven 840D Nylon 6, engineered by our team to be durable, abrasion-resistant, water-resistant, & dust-repellent. This is the same textile used in our bestselling CIVIC Access Sling 2L.

What is the lining textile?
Our lightweight yet durable, 210d high tenacity nylon 6,6. It's slick and lightweight, but still extremely durable.
